We are committed to the following principles:

• Reduce:
  • Paper by printing on both sides and/or maintaining electronic files
  • Energy by turning off lights and equipment when not in use
  • Our carbon footprint by:
    • maximizing online collaboration or conference calls
    • eliminating unnecessary travel
    • clustering meetings on campus
    • turning off lights and computer monitors
    • taking the stairs instead of the elevator
• Repair equipment instead of buying new
• Reuse packaging materials, binders, and other business supplies whenever possible
• Recycle printer cartridges, cardboard boxes, batteries, paper, glass, plastic, and metal
• Reclaim a healthier environment by supporting the sustainability initiatives of the University as well as those of our external business partners
